Staying in the country at the Pronkkamer (parlour) of the old bakery in the Village Street of Saaxumhuizen. It is only 7 km from the worldheritage Het Waddengebied.
The "parlour" was formerly only used on Sundays. There you can experience the atmosphere of earlier times with the comfort of today.
The oldest information on the house dates back to 1778. Originally it was a farm house, then a bakery annex shop where one could buy everything. The village grew smaller and smaller and all facilites disappeared; so also the bakery and the shop.
There are two rooms, each for two persons, they both have there own bathroom.
